Thanda Royal Zulu FC are hanging on top of the first national division. They are eight points ahead of Black Leopards, who are second with 39 points having played 22 games.

AmaBhubesi, who were relegated from the PSL in 2008/09, now need just 17 points from their remaining eight matches to reach 64 points and ensure their return to the PSL next season.

Coach Roger Sikhakhane says he “wants to maintain his place.” He made this statement after winning their game against Santos on Sunday.

” I think for us it’s good to maintain that gap and that position on top of the log, but the most important thing is to win our games,” Sikhakhane said after Sunday’s game.

Amabhubesi will play their  next game on the 16th of April, going against Jomo Cosmos at Tsakane Stadium.
