It has been roughly two months since the Metro FM reshuffling took place and more and more of its disk jockeys have moved to other radio stations and they seem to have moved with most of their listeners.

Well, the latest duo to have moved from Metro is DJ Naves and SPHEctacula following Bonang Matheba’s departure from the station. The duo has found home at Durban’s most popular radio stations, Gagasi FM and they couldn’t be happier.

Fans were sad to know that these two were living because they literally did get people ready for their parties and for a while it seemed no one was going to usher them into their weekend’s parties until Luthando Sosha and Dj Speedsta took over last weekend.

At the time of departure, Sphe and Naves thanked their listeners by saying, “we are eternally grateful for your unwavering support. Leaving the Preparty is a bold step for us to grow, get out of our comfort zones and challenge ourselves to achieve more. We hope you continue to follow us on our journey, wherever that may lead.”

At Metro FM they were the Weekend special kings hosting the Preparty for seven years and now, they bless listeners during the week with a drive time slot, 3-6 pm starting from the 1st of June 2017 which means that listeners can now indulge in a double dose of SPHEctacular and Dj Naves during the week every day.

Sphe and Naves said in a statement on Instagram “We knew we were ready for change and something bigger to challenge ourselves. We weren’t sure precisely what this change would be, but we believed in having a bigger impact on radio. We put it out to the universe and our paths have aligned with Gagasi FM at the right time, we would like to wholeheartedly thank the Gagasi FM team for believing in our vision and entrusting us with their prime time show. We look forward to executing our shared vision for the show with them and growing with the station.”
