South African model and beauty pageant titleholder, Bokang Tshabalala (31) together with her husband, Kaizer Chiefs player , Simphiwe Tshabalala (33) ceased an opportunity in the market in creating their own range.
For this couple , a fresh perspective and novelty has never been met for African inspired clothing. They then jotted an idea and thought into a reality where they decided to create their own range and give it the best of justice on it. They recently launched a range that expands it’s borders across from pants and shirts to backpacks with authentic cartoons of both Bokang and Simphiwe to convey a direct message to what has never been said.
The heart behind this for them was to always help African children find their worth , understand their value and make each and every child realize the beauty they carry within themselves without needing an form of confirmation from a mirror.
They realized it was time to challenge the norm and show that they are unique. “It is not just about the clothing. It is not just about having a black doll. It is about sending a message of hope and self-esteem. It is about telling the African child that they are good enough,” Bokang said.
This will be catering for children between the ages of two and ten. There will have a second launch this weekend at the MamaMagic Expo at the (Ticketpro) Dome in North-gate and will have a pop-upstore at Clearwater Mall.
