Hollywoodbets Dolphins played an impressive game against WBS Cape Cobras yesterday at Paarl Stadium where they won by 3 wickets making a score of 291/7.

Robbie Frylinck played a brilliant game for the Dolphins as he sealed the deal of their victory with consecutive six in the last two balls.

The Cobras won the toss and elected to bat first on an understandably dry wicket, but the Dolphins couldn’t have asked for a better start when Frylinck castled the dangerous Richard Levi without scoring in the first over.

A brilliant hundred from Morné van Wyk which was his 24th century of his career after a constructive 107 (137 balls, 10 fours, 1 six), helped the Dolphins to chase the score of 289/6.

It looked impossible for the Dolphins towards the end of the overs as the Cobras were tightening up the bowling skills with Dolphins needing 13 runs to win from six balls.

Robbie Frylinck gave his team a memorable win when he hit two sixes from two balls which sealed the deal for the Dolphins

The Hollywoodbets Dolphins return home to take on the VKB Knights at Sahara Stadium Kingsmead in the Momentum One Day Cup on Friday, 12 January.
