SuperSport United has confirmed that they have reached an agreement with Mamelodi Sundowns regarding the future of their striker Jeremy Brockie.
The New Zealand born has played three years for Mtsantsantsa, he joined the team in January 2015, rumours of this player have been moving around for some time now and SuperSport released a statement today stating that the player is moving.
SuperSport CEO Stanley Mathews explained the movement of Jeremy will never be easy for the club.
“It’s never easy to lose a key player like Jeremy, especially off the back of three great seasons with us in which we made 5 cups finals and he became the second highest scorer at the club. we also understand that at his age this is Jeremy’s last big move and opportunity to secure his financial future. Given that he has made significant contribution to the club on and off the field our Board have agreed to sanction his move Mamelodi Sundowns and we wish him well ih his future”
Jeremy has scored 28 ABSA Premiership goals in 81 appearances, 16 domestic cup goals for SuperSport helping them lift the Nedbank Cup and MTN8 Cup Title.
