Leonardo Castro says he feels at home at Naturena since arriving from Mamelodi Sundowns and hailed the clubs supporters and facilities at the club.
The Columbian striker marked his debut with a winning goal against Baroka on Sunday to his amusement to how the fans had been waiting for his debut, giving him more confidence to deliver the goals for Steve Kompela’s side.
“I was already excited to make my debut and the chanting of my name made it even more special. I could really feel it and it was so motivating. From that moment I knew that I would score. The facilities are fantastic and the people are also very nice. There is a great family atmosphere at the village, which is good to see. I feel right at home”, revealed Castro
The striker who has a pedigree for scoring goals and became a hit at Mamelodi Sundowns , forming an unstoppable CBD trio with Khama Billiat and Keagan Dolly believes that he will score more goals for the club and contribute to their history.
“I want to score goals and to make history, I want my name to become part of the club’s rich history. I also want to achieve with Chiefs internationally, including winning the CAF Champions League. It’s the biggest club in South Africa. And the emblem has to be number one, we want to be champions.”, he added.
Castro will hope he can start the game against his former club Mamelodi Sundowns on Saturday at the FNB stadium and help chiefs move within possibilities of winning the league title by closing the gap to the top by two points.
