Bafana Bafana and Bidvest Wits skipper Thulani Hlatshwayo has come out to the public about the speculations linking him with a move to Soweto giants Orlando Pirates.
Throughout the transfer window, Tyson was subjected with a possible move to the Buccaneers.
Hlatshwayo however rubbished the news about the move to any club, and says his mind is always with the braamfontien outfit and his willing to archive more with Bidvest Wits.
My head has been right. I’ve been okay, making sure that I do well for the team. It’s just my toe that I had a problem with from Bafana Bafana,” said Hlatshwayo.
“I’ve also been seeing the speculation, but from me,to be honest no one has contacted me. It’s just news that I’ve been seeing in the newspapers.
“Personally, no one at all has spoken to me. I don’t know if they did approach Wits, but even the club haven’t told me anything.”
“The senior players in the team have been through that, and I’ve also been through it before I joined Wits. There was speculation that I would be going to a bigger team,” he added.
“But even then I knew what I wanted, so it doesn’t affect me now. I just make sure I keep focused on my team, because we did well last season and the core is still here.
“It’s a funny game, finding ourselves where we are after what we achieved last season. So it’s important that I keep focused, wherever I’m being played, to give 100 percent.”
