Man of the match Heinrich Klaasen gave good play to help Proteas win against India and level the series score up by 1-1 in the KFC T20 International Series 1-1 against India after a six-wicket win at SuperSport Park in Centurion on Wednesday night.
India were the first to bet and they made a score of 189, and South Africa had to chase the 189 left by India in order to win the match.
Early wickets of Reeza Hendricks and Jon-Jon Smuts didn’t depress Duminy and Klaasen, who shared a convincing 93-run stand inside nine overs.
Since taking gloves from injured Quinton de Kock, Klasen has made a rather interesting playing helping South Africa secure their first win in this T20 series.
Klaasen and Duminy , pair made a successive 93 runs for the third wicket and by the time Klaasen fell, just over 50 were needed.
Behardien came in and help his team to a victory with his 16 runs and South Africa leveled up the series by 1-1.
