Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso ‘Jingles’ Mosimane happy that his side did no concede a goal against stubborn Rayon Sports in the Champions League.
Both side played a goalless draw in the first round of CAF Champions League at Amahoro Stadium.
With no doubts Rayon Sports are the team to beat when they return to South Africa for a return leg.
Pitso applauded Rayon performance, as the team from Rwanda gave the CAF 2016 champions a hard task on the night.
“I was not happy with my team in the first half. They started to relax thinking that it was going to be easy but it did not turn out like that because the opponents raised the standards,” Mosimane told the media in Kigali after the match.
“It was an open game, which is how I expect Rayon Sports to play. They are a good playing team.”
The team from the Capital City will play host to Rayon Sports on March 18, for a return leg at Pretoria and Sundowns have to make sure they don’t concede a goal as it will come to bite them with an away goal rule.
