Gauteng Premier Announces Changes To Gauteng Cabinet


JOHANNESBURG – Gauteng Premier David Makhura has announced the slight changes made to the Gauteng council on Tuesday at the provincial legislature in the Johannesburg.

The Premier announced Dikgang Moiloa’s appointment as MEC of Human Settlements replacing Paul Mashatile who was appointed as the African National Congress (ANC) Treasure General during the party’s national elective conference last year.

“Since MEC Paul Mashatile was elected as ANC Treasurer and consequently Uhuru Moiloa will replace Mashatil,” said Makhura.

Makhura further announced that Moiloa will be sworn in on Friday.

The premier said that he has confidence in Moiloa’s abilities as Gauteng’s new Human Settlements MEC.

Moiloa is also the deputy speaker of the Gauteng provincial legislature.
