Supersport Rugby Challenge Resume In April

Rugby fans are up for another lovely season of rugby as Supersport rugby challenge is making its way back for another season in April.

The tournament was launched in 2017, and it was first won by DHL Western Province, the tournament is televised and its matches are mostly played on Sunday and the entrence to the venues where matches are being played is free to the public.

First match will be between the Champions Western Province and Eastern Cape on the 22nd of April at the Wolfson Stadium in Kwazakhele outside Port Elizabeth.

The format is the game is simply five teams in pool,Northern,Southern and Central.

 

The pools are as follows :

 North: Vodacom Blue Bulls, Xerox Golden Lions, Hino Valke, Steval Pumas, Namibia Welwitschias
 Central: Toyota Free State, Down Touch Griffons, Tafel Lager Griquas, Leopards, Cell C Sharks
South: Boland Cavaliers, Border Bulldogs, EP Elephants, SWD Eagles, DHL Western Province

The Sunday Rugby Festivals dates are:

22 April: Wolfson Stadium, Kwazakhele, Port Elizabeth
13 May: Newrak Impala Rugby Club, Rustenburg
20 May: Bridgton Sports Ground, Oudtshoorn
17 June: Sisa Dukashe Stadium, Mdantsane
24 June: Bill Jardine Stadium, Longdale, Johannesburg
