Proteas fast bowler Kagiso Rabada has regained his number one spot in the MRF Tyres ICC Test Player Rankings.
This happened a day just after the paceman was banned by ICC from the rest of the Sunfoil Test Series.The 22-year-old has also crossed the coveted 900-point mark in ratings after his player of the match effort of 11-150 helped South Africa defeat Australia by six wickets in Port Elizabeth to level their four-match series at 1-1.

He has taken 15 wickets at an average of 16.80 in the two tests against Australia this month, with his raw pace and accuracy testing the quality of the visiting batsmen.
His the 23rd bowler to cross the 900 points and is only the fourth in South Africa.
Even though Rabada won’t be playing in the upcoming two matches against Australia because he was found guilty of level new offence Rabada will be so delighted with himself after the rankings.
On the other news ,SA batsman AB de Villiers is another major gainer in the latest rankings update, as his latest play has helped him move up to seventh position.
