Chippa United will join the likes of Kaizer Chiefs, Bidvest Wits, Orlando Pirates, SuperSport United, and Mamelodi Sundowns, and launch their own Television show that will be broadcast at the Word of Champions, SuperSport TV.

Chippa United Tv show will make its debut on television screen on Thursday, 22 March 2018.

Chippa Mpengesi announced the good news for the Chilli Boys fans on Tuesday 20, March.

“This is a proud moment for the football club and we happy to share this moment with our faithful supporters,” said a visibly thrilled Mpengesi.

“Our strategy is clear; to become one of the most recognisable sporting brands in South Africa and beyond its borders.

“We are working hard on and off the field to take the Chippa United brand to the next level. The magazine show will further give us an opportunity to market this young brand,” continued Mpengesi.

Speaking on the content Mpengesi said; “This club has a unique history and the show will reflect where the club comes from.

“The past eight years have been amazing and now it’s time to tell our story through this magazine show.

“I would like to take this opportunity to thank my management team and everyone at the club for their efforts in putting this show together.

“I also want to send a word of gratitude to the producers of the show, TK Vision, for their commitment and patience.

“This would not have been possible without SuperSport; their commitment to the development of football is second to none and we thank them for presenting our loyal supporters an opportunity to watch their show in the comforts of their homes,” added Mpengesi.

Chippa United TV will provide fans with exclusive club content with management, technical team, staff and give a glimpse of the life on the players.

The first episode airing on Thursday will feature Chippa United chairman giving the low down on where the club started.

Featuring also in the first episode is record club captain, James Okwuasa.

The club recently launched Gauteng Greater Branch and Chippa United TV was there to cover the momentous occasion.

The show will be aired on SuperSport 4, at 8pm, on every third Thursday of the month.
