Former President Jacob Zuma is expected to appear in court to face corruption charges amongst other charges that he is alleged to would have committed during the time he was President of the Republic of South Africa.
The National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) has confirmed that Zuma will have his day in court soon.
Hawks are expected to issue summons to Zuma on Monday as they are yet to finalise the summon; “Issues of administrative that needs to be done, of course you know in every summons you’ve to make sure that you’ve your facts right,” said Hawks spokesperson Hangwani Mulaudzi.
It’s understood lawyers representing the former president have agreed on 6 April to be the day the former president heads to court.
According to reports, Zuma’s case will be discussed in the Durban High Court and the time is yet to be confirmed.
