The Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) has wished all South Africans a blessed, peaceful and prosperous Good Friday ahead the Easter Holidays weekend and asked the people to pray for land in the process.
“We ask prayers for South Africa and its land expropriation without compensation process; that we may truly expropriate land without compensation for equal redistribution without any spill of blood,” said the EFF.
The party has urged people to be cautious in the road to ensure their safe arrivals to assigned destinations; “we call on all who are traveling to different pilgrimage and holiday destinations to drive responsibly,” said EFF spokesperson Mbuyiseni Ndlozi.
“We join the world in remembrance of the brutal death of Jesus Christ on the cross, we remember him as the messiah of the poor, degenerated, oppressed, widows, orphans and children; in his memory, and that of his death on the cross, we must renew our commitment to build a better world which seeks to change the living conditions of the oppressed”.
The party has also on all Christians to knee in prayer, and pray for Libya where African slavery has been revived; “we ask prayers for Western Sahara, which is under the illegal colonial occupation by Morocco”.
