JOHANNESBURG: Stacy Meyer has been appointed General Manager for the Johnson & Johnson Medical Devices business in South Africa.
In her new role, Stacy will lead the South African team in ensuring that the Patient is at the centre of all decisions, and executing the commercial strategy for the Medical Devices portfolio in South Africa to deliver growth.
Prior to this appointment, Stacy served as General Manager of Ethicon & DePuy Synthes in Poland and Baltics, and during her 20-year career at Johnson & Johnson, has held various positions throughout the US and Eastern Europe including General Management Czech & Slovakia, Marketing, National Account Management, Training and Sales. Stacy, together with the broader team, will also be responsible for ensuring that Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment (B-BBEE) remains a strategic focus within the local business, through continued focus on social upliftment and strong partnerships in health and education. She brings strong leadership to this role, coupled with sound understanding of the global healthcare landscape and driving value for patients within our communities.
