JOHANNESBURG: The EFF has urged South Africans to go in numbers to pay their last respect to the Freedom Stalwart on Saturday.
The Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) has on Thursday called on all South Africans from different walks of life, to go in numbers and fill up Orlando Stadium for the funeral of Mama Winnie Mandela who fought tirelessly for the freedom of the people during the times of oppression.
“We call on all businesses operating on Saturday to observe this day by releasing workers to attend the funeral of the mother of the nation,” said EFF Spokesperson Dr Mbuyiseni Ndlozi.
“We must give this selfless heroin of our people a dignified mass funeral rooted in the people that she lived for all her life,” said the EFF.
The Funeral service will be held at Orlando Stadium in Soweto and she will be buried at Fourways Memorial Park cemetery.
