Absa Premiership Relegation Fight:  Who Will Stay, Who Will Face Exit?

Johannesburg: With only three games remaining of Absa Premiership 2017/18 season, The Republic Mail shift focus to the bottom half of the table where it is still a toss-up as who will kiss the South Africa top flight league goodbye.

Relegation candidates Platinum Stars, Ajax Cape Town, SuperSport United, Polokwane City, Golden Arrows Amazulu and, Bidvest Wits are all in threat of being relegated.

These seven teams are all in danger, they need to collect points as soon as possible, try not to drop points in this stage of the season, failure to do that PSL exit loams.

On paper the team who finish 16th will be relegated straight to National First Division (NFD), while the team that will finish 15th on the summit of the log will play PSL Promotional Player Offs, with two teams from NFD who finished second and third on the standings.

Promotional play offs contest a round-robin of fixtures to be played on home and away formet with three points allocated for a win and one point for a draw.

The 15th placed team will compete in PSL Promotion/Relegation Playoff tournament along with two teams seeking promotion from the NFD.
