JOHANNESBURG: Log leaders Mamelodi Sundowns will look to continue with their impressive nine match unbeaten when they welcome Golden Arrows in an Absa Premiership tie on Tuesday night at Loftus Versveld Stadium, Kick-off 19:30pm.

The Brazilians hit two goals against outgoing PSL champions Bidvest Wits on Saturday to take the lead at the summit of the log. The win against the Students took the team from the capital to 52 points on the standings, with a game in hand. While Orlando Pirates have 49 and both will be left with three games to play before the end of the season, after Tuesday’s match with Arrows.

Should Bafana ba Style record a win on Tuesday night, Pitso’s troops will extend the lead to six points, and only need one win and a draw to secure the top flight PSL title.

Mathematically Sundowns need seven points from their remaining PSL fixtures to be crowned Absa Premier Soccer League Champions for the record of eight times.
