PORT ELIZABETH: Baxter was present when the Chilli Boys drew 1-1 with Ajax Cape Town as he watched the game unfold from the stands.
Chippa United assistant coach Roscoe Krieling has nothing but praise after the club was visited by Bafana Bafana coach Stuart Baxter in his quest to get closer to all top flight clubs.
Baxter was present when the Chilli Boys drew 1-1 with Ajax Cape Town as he watched the game unfold from the stands. He later had a dinner meeting with head coach Vladeslav Heric after the game and also took time to meet the rest of the technical team the day after that.
The England-born mentor has been travelling around the country visiting PSL clubs in order to create a sense of partnership between the national team and clubs. Krieling was more than satisfied with Baxter’s visit as he says he has drawn some positives from it.
“I found the meeting very informative and positive with regards to coach Stuart Baxter’s plan to get closer to PSL clubs. It was great for all of us in the technical team to share our views about football as well as listen and gain knowledge around his vision for the national team,” said the assistant coach on the club’s website.
The national team coach indicated on the Chilli Boys’ website that he will continue working with clubs in order for the national team to work hand in hand with the clubs. According to Baxter, the feedback he is getting from his plan has so far been satisfactory for him.
