UCL Report: Real Madrid Take Two Away Goal Advantage To The Bernabeu

MUNICH: Real Madrid took a 2-1 win in the first leg this UEFA Champions League semi-final clash with Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena.

With only two minutes being played the host, Bayern got an early chance to open the deadlock following Lewandowski’s cross find Thomas Muller flat footed and unable to control the ball.

Jupp Heynchkes was forced to make early substitute, after Arjen Robben went down with leg or foot injury, it wasn’t sure what exactly happened to the Dutch winger.

The Home took a lead after Joshua Kimmich struck the ball past Madrid keeper Keylor Navas near his post. More woes attracted The Bavarians, as trouble struck them once again when Jerome Boateng seemed to have a groin injury on his left leg and went straight to the tunnel before half time.

Los Blancos defence was in scramble, but the left back defender Marcelo made things level. He struck the ball with a half volley outside 20 yards, converting a header across the box from Dani Carvajal.

It was all square in the first 45 minutes. Second stanza resumed, Heyncheks’s men were at their best on the night, creating many chances as they could, but they misused those chances.  A devastating error from Rifinah at the back, made Madrid to have a quick counter- attack, that find Marco Ansensio one on one with  Munich keeper Ulriech, and Asensio m,made no mistake to put the ball on the net.

Madrid went victorious on the night, where Real have won their sixth consecutive game against Bayern. They took two slender away goals to the Bernabeu, where Bayern Munich will need to two goals to beat the man in white.
