Cricket South Africa Mourns The Passing Of Hlatuka

Pitcture :

Border Cricket mourns the tragic passing of Siviwe Hlatuka, the Alice RPC Head Coach.

Siviwe was seriously injured in an attack while visiting a shopping mall on Saturday 28 April in Alice. He was rushed to hospital after a shooting, however passed away later that evening.

Deon Muller, Cricket Service Manager commented “Siviwe was unfortunately at the wrong place at the wrong time. He was the Alice RPC Head Coach and was earmarked for bigger things as he had just attended the Eastern Cape Refresher Level 2 course in order to qualify for the National Level 3 later this year. He was previously the U13 Assistant Coach and in 2017 was promoted to the U17 Rural Coach. His commitment and loyalty to the Alice Region will be a big loss.”

He was 33 years old.

Final arrangements in terms of the Funeral and Memorial Service will follow soon.
