JOHANNESBURG :Budweiser, one of the world’s most iconic beers, now also brewed in South Africa, is lighting up the country to celebrate its 32nd year as the official, and therefore exclusive, beer of the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
A repeat of 2010 wouldn’t hurt, we say let’s relive 2010 one more time Mzansi! Following the recent unveiling of AB InBev’s new global campaign, “Light Up the FIFA World Cup” Budweiser South Africa is currently touring the country to literally light up eight of South Africa’s 2010 stadiums in an effort to ensure that South Africans feel part of the euphoric energy leading up the most watched sporting event on the planet.
Johannesburg’s FNB Stadium will be lit up in celebration. Fans are invited to join Budweiser for the city’s official Light Up party with Metro FM and DJ Fresh at Zone 6 Venue, where they’ll have the opportunity to win one FIFA World Cup ticket.
