JOHANNESBURG: Pirates have already announced their signings ahead of next season and Sundowns have done their bit in the transfer window so far.
With the current off-season transfer window underway, Kaizer Chiefs are yet to announce new signings but are loosing their reported transfer targets to rivals which has led to the Club’s supporters wondering who their club are signing.
Orlando Pirates have already announced their signings ahead of next season and Mamelodi Sundowns have done their bit in the transfer window so far. Both teams are signing the players who seemed to be destined for Naturena.
Firstly, their Soweto rivals beat them to the signature of Meshack Maphangule from Black Leopards when it seemed it was a done deal that he would be going to Chiefs. Pirates again beat them clearly in the signature of Bidvest Wits player Vincent Pule this week.
Sundowns also had their fair share of disappointing Chiefs who are yet to announce a new coach when they beat them to the signing of highly rated midfielder Andile Jali who has returned from Belgium. Reports had already suggested that he was to be announced as a Chiefs player.
Their former goalkeeper Brilliant Khuzwayo has also found himself a new home at their arch-rivals on a free transfer. The club have however indicated that they will be making announcements soon but it remains a mystery as to what those signing announcements will be as they are loosing their targets.
Their only prominent target who has not yet been announced to have signed for another club is Rodney Ramagalela of Polokwane City who is also being linked to Pirates.
