JOHANNESBURG: Kaizer Chiefs have announced that they have received their head coach Giovanni Solinas’ work permit ahead of the new season which commences this coming weekend.

Solinas has not sat on the bench for Amakhosi since joining them recently during pre-season on a two-year deal. The announcement was made by the club’s football manager Bobby Motaung on the club’s website
“We are happy that the coach has received his papers. Solinas has been familiarising himself with the set-up and thanks to now having his work permit, he will have a chance to rally his troops from the bench, starting this weekend against Mamelodi Sundowns,” revealed Motaung.
The former Free State Stars coach will begin with his first task in a tricky 2018/2019 season’s opening match against defending Champions Mamelodi Sundowns on Saturday afternoon at Loftus Versfeld in Pretoria at 15h00.
Tickets for the match are being sold at TicketPro outlets around the country, R40 for adults and R20 for children.
