Khuzwayo’s Injury To Keep Him Out For Weeks

By Isaac Ndou

JOHANNESBURG: New Orlando Pirates goalkeeper Brilliant Khuzwayo will have to wait a bit longer to make his Debut for the Ghost as an injury will keep him on the sidelines for three to four weeks.

Khuzwayo will undergo an orthopedic surgeon to remove screws in his ankle and to have a scope performed later this week and start his road to recovery.
The injury is however said to be not that serious but its procedural treatment will get the 28-year-old former Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper back in perfect shape for his anticipated debut.
The Buccaneers will not be pressing any panic buttons following Khuzwayo’s injury as they have the services of capable goalkeepers in Wayne Sandilands, Siyabonga Mpontshane and Jackson Mabokgwane available for selection ahead of their first league game.
The Sea Robbers will lock heads with top-flight returnees Highlands Park at the Orlando Stadium on Saturday night at 20h15.
