JOHANNESBURG-Bafana Bafana will entertain the lowest ranked nation in group E in their next AFCON qualifier, with one thing in mind, collecting all three maximum log points against Seychelles.

As have been the case with heavy high stakes game of football that Bafana Bafana have played in the past decade or so, the next one has taken even more than importance. After a blanch showing at home against Libya in their previous AFCON 2019 qualifier South Africa now have glorious chance to put things right over the next week or so, beating Seychelles not one but twice, to take control of group E which currently sees three nations separating by a single point.

While Libya and Nigeria will played each other on back to back fixtures, Bafana need to get better on Seychelles as the rankings states should be a straight forward task. Bafana in 73rd in the World and 15th in the continent while Seychelles down in 198 on the globe, Bafana’s failure in recent times to take advantage on a high ranking has been worry, infect failing to win at home in the AFCON qualifiers has been an issue as has been less of goals scored.

Although Bafana Bafana are unbeaten in 10 AFOCON qualifiers, they won only one of their last eight, the others finishing in draws failing to score in six of them. Now is an issue that Coach Stuart Baxter has look to address ahead of Seychelles as double header by bringing  in the goal scorer expertise of former  Bafana Bafana striker Shaun Bartlett, there’s hope that his services will help South Africa to beat Seychelles at least at home.

The visitors have played two lost two, pounded 5-1 at home by Libya before suffering a 3-0 reverse to Nigeria, numbers now suggest that there’s a lot to fear against South African prospective nothing but their own liability to beat a side at home.

This week hasn’t been a great one from the injury front with both Thapelo Morena and inform Orlando Pirates Vincent Pule ruled out due to injuries, but the good news in that dark injury cloud is that the rest of the squad looks good and ready for the upcoming two games which will lead the nation closers to Cameroon 2019 AFCON African Cup of Nations
