JOHANNESBURG: Diesel will go up by between 47 cents and 50 cents per litre and or illuminating paraffin will go up by 37 cents.
The Energy Department has announced that the price of all grades of petrol will remain the same on Wednesday while the price of diesel will go up.
The Central Energy Fund has released its latest fuel price figures for South Africa, which will kick in on 7 November 2018.
It stated that both 93 and 95 grades of petrol will have no price change for the month ahead.
“The average international product prices of petrol decreased while diesel and illuminating paraffin increased during the period under review,” stated the CEF.
The rand appreciated against the US dollar during the period under review, on average, when compared to the previous period.”
The changes and new prices are listed below.
- 93 and 95 petrol – No price change
- Diesel 0.05% – 47.92 cents increase
- Diesel 0.005% – 50.92 cents increase
The Gauteng prices for fuel are:
- Petrol 95 – R17.08
- Petrol 93 – R16.85
- Diesel 0.05% – R16.13
- Diesel 0.005% – R16.20
