DURBAN: According to the Sunday Times, they were prevented from speaking at his court appearance on Friday.

ANC KZN Provincial Secretary Mdumiseni Ntuli says the provincial executive committee of the ANC has not prevented anyone from attending court cases of former president Jacob Zuma.

This after a media report saying that top ANC officials have gagged Zuma’s supporters.

According to the Sunday Times, they were prevented from speaking at his court appearance on Friday.

The paper is reporting that ANC leaders in KwaZulu-Natal are behind the move, and don’t want President Cyril Ramaphosa embarrassed at the January 8 celebrations in Durban.

However, Ntuli said Ramaphosa will be exceptionally welcomed by party members and supporters in January.
