JOHANNESBURG:SuperSport United and Orlando Pirates will lock horns in the ABSA Premiership this season when they meet at the Mbombela stadium in  Nelspruit on Wednesday.

Kick-off is at 19:30 CAT

Mastastansta will be looking revenge on their opponents as they were beaten 3-1 at the Orlando Stadium last time out, with Vincent Pule, Thembinkosi Lorch and Ben Motshwari getting on the score sheet for the Sea Robbers. The man from Pretoria will be hoping to kick start a better of a winning run and an added motivation going to the clash following an accelerating victory over  Golden Arrows in the last outing, which was sealed by a marvellous strike midfielder Tebogo Mokwena.

Unfortunately for United and perhaps for Bucs Mokwena have to watch on from the stands as he serves a one match suspension as the results picking up a forth yellow card of the season against Arrows.

For Pirates it will be desperate times to get back to winning ways with last victory in all competitions coming when they claim a 3-0 win over Hooraya FC in CAF Champions League just over a month ago. Pirates have since drawn three and lost two games the most recent 2-0 defeat in CAF competition against Esperance.

Orlando Pirates will seek a win over SuperSport United which will be a tough task to do as Pirates title chase is still in up for grabs, they seat third in the ABSA Premiership standings behind Mamelodi Sundowns and table toppers Bidvest Wits four points behind the Braamfontien Outfit and one point behind Pitso’s troops who have two games in hand over Pirates. A win for United will move from sixth position to fourth place behind the Sea Robbers only a goal difference.
